When I was a kid I would watch The Batman (2004) on tv with my older brother. I honestly wouldn't consider it something I was super into at that age, but the art style and direction really held my attention for whatever reason.
To this day, I think the characterization of Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson are still most effected by the way I remember them from the cartoon, even after having read a great deal of the comics.
Weirdly enough, Superman.
I say weirdly enough because he's kind of out of my usual style: knights and emo bastards (the Batman). I was never one to go all out and call characters my princess... but ohohooo. Clark Kent is my princess. My beautiful alien princess.
Honestly, I'm not sure. I think it was just the most accessible way of expressing myself as a young kid, and then it really stuck with me. I've worked in other art forms--tried to draw, sucked at it, I play contrabass and consider myself to be just a hair better than decent at it, I do photography and I'm not horrible at it--but writing is still my go to.
I do! I post them under a different name, just for my own sake, but they're out there and they're on neocities! Maybe you'll find them ;), good luck.
Glad you asked! [I sure do love to talk to myself!]
My name comes from a meme in Red Hood: Outlaws (the Webtoon version) Volume 2. I couldn't find a good scan of the panel I got my name from anywhere, so I took a photo lol.
