I'm Ratio (it/he), or iFlashedDaFlash, a writer from NY, USA.
I've been telling stories for as long as I can remember. The oldest instance I can recall being from my early elementary school days, where I would slap together horrific short stories about my friends and I turning into forest animals. I would like to believe I've come a long way from my weird suburban child humble beginnings, but I think that would be giving myself too much credit.
Currently, I'm a journalism student with a concentration in marine sciences and biology. I've always been incredibly passionate about marine conservation, which lead me to major in marine environmental science immediately out of highschool. I've since found that my strengths are better served in bridging the gap between the general public and conservation researchers with my (limited) skills in writing. Optimally, I would like to work in editing, but we'll see where I wind up.
